Emily Joy Wells and Jeffrey Allan Sivertson were married Aug. 20, 2016, at the Fargo Country Club.
Parents of the bride are Jodie Wells and Sidney Fossan of Fergus Falls, and the late George Wells Jr. of Yukon, Oklahoma. Parents of the groom are Lisa Sivertson of Fargo, and Larry Sivertson of Cando, North Dakota.
Maid of Honor was Ashley Rodning, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Allie Wells-Shepherd and Hannah Lammers Olson, sisters of the bride; Anica Ree, Lynette Mulgrew, and Laura Bolstad, friends of the bride; and Ashley Sivertson, sister of the groom. Flower girls included Madyson Rohrich, daughter of the groom; Sophia Shepherd, Isabelle Shepherd and Alice Lammers, nieces of the bride. Personal attendants for the bride were Jamie Christianson, Jesse Hayes, and Alissa Maier, all friends of the bride.
Best man was Jordan Houle, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Robert Wolsky and Jake Zietz, friends of the groom; Ross Sivertson, Chris Sivertson, and Jordon Sivertson, brothers of the groom; and Jordan Shepherd, brother-in-law of the bride. Ring bearer was Liam Haecherl, cousin of the bride. Ushers were Lucas Holien and Kenny Kukuk, friends of the groom; Gavin Wells, nephew of the bride; and Dominic Beving, “nephew” of the bride.
The Rev. Cody Schuler officiated a beautiful outdoor ceremony, after which a reception was held also at the Fargo Country Club. The couple celebrated alongside the bride’s aunt and uncle, Sharon and Gary Spies, celebrating their 56th wedding anniversary.
The couple also wished a happy 100th birthday in heaven to the bride’s grandmother, Alice “Nana” Ferguson.
Emily is employed with Park Gardens of Fergus Falls as the marketing director. Jeff is employed by Gate City Bank as a customer service representative.
The couple currently resides in Fergus Falls.
