Sam Miltich will present a program exploring the intersections of mental health and creativity through jazz, deepening our understanding of interconnections at the Sunday morning service on June 9 at the Unitarian Church of Underwood. Sam Miltich is a self-taught jazz guitarist raised in the north woods of Minnesota. He has played from Iron Range towns to Minneapolis to the New York’s Lincoln Center stage. Sam received a grant to tour “Improvised Life,” taking his message of jazz and mental health to help educate on and destigmatize mental illness.
The service begins at 10 a.m. A children’s class is offered during the service. All are welcome.
