On Sunday, June 23 Cedar Walters will speak at the Unitarian Church of Underwood on “There is No ‘Away’: Consumption and Waste from Global and Local Perspectives.” Cedar is the public information and education officer for the Otter Tail County Solid Waste Department. She will give an overview of rampant consumerism and the global waste crisis, where your garbage goes locally, and how having less is better for us and the planet. A roundtable discussion will follow the service.

The service begins at 10 a.m. A children’s class is offered during the service.  All are welcome.
