The Minnesota State Patrol says alcohol was a factor in an early morning crash on Wednesday at approximately 12:27 a.m. on Highway 29 about two miles west of Wadena.

The state patrol says 47-year-old Dennis Fronning of Battle Lake was piloting a 2006 Kenworth semi that was traveling westbound on Highway 29 when it collided with a 2006 Honda Accord driven by 30-year-old Krista Decker of Wadena.

Both drivers were transported by ambulance to Tri-County Health Care in Wadena with nonlife-threatening injuries. The state patrol says Decker was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. It is unclear if she will be charged at this point.
