The Dalton Christmas Fest Threshing Village tour of lights will be open every evening from 5:30-10 p.m. Nov. 25 through Jan. 2. The display offers Christmas lights as well as Santa visits. A tree lighting will take place at the Village at 7 p.m. on Thanksgiving. There will also be “Special Event Saturdays” on Dec. 4, 11 and 18 that will include visits with Santa, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows with the fire department, hot chocolate and cider, and Christmas “trackless” train rides. Dec. 11 will have horse-drawn carriage rides available. This event is free to the public. Dalton Christmas Fest is 100% volunteer based and is funded by donations. You can donate at Dalton area businesses and onsite. For more information and ways to get involved visit the Dalton Christmas Fest Facebook page.
