Live acoustic music by Ty Stortroen will set the stage for a special self-care workshop hosted by Lake Region Healthcare (LRH) for their Living Well education series next month. The session will be held at the Fergus Falls Public Library community room beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

“In the busyness of the holidays, we want to invite everyone to pause for some self-care,” said LRH director of wellness Natalie Knutson. “We’re bringing in live music and massage therapy along with some great activities for both adults and kids including kids art, making essential oils, and designing a gratitude ornament. Plus we’ll serve up some healthy snacks and beverages to inspire you for healthier holiday eating too,” she added.

The workshop will run from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and RSVPs are requested for food and supplies. Participants can come at any time and stay as long as they wish.

The 2019-20 Living Well educational forums are be held the first Tuesday of each month from September through April. The education series is designed to offer a broad range of information on health-related topics to address all seven components of wellness.

The December session will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Fergus Falls Public Library community room at 205 E. Hampden Ave. in Fergus Falls.

All Living Well sessions are free and open to the public, but registration is requested to plan for refreshments. Call 218-736-8699 or email livingwell@lrhc.org for information or to register. Attendees are welcome without registration as well.
