Outpost Smokehouse, a new BBQ restaurant with dine-in, online ordering and grab-n-go options, is set to open just in time for Memorial Day weekend. The smokehouse, where not all smoking is bad, will offer a range of smoked meats and tasty sides. A grand opening is planned for May 22 at Little Chief located at 1603 Pebble Lake Road in Fergus Falls.
The smokehouse will offer everything from a la carte ribs, brisket and signature dishes like pulled pork sandwiches to baskets for family meals. They will be offering rewards in the form of “chain smoking points'' that convert every $1 spent to points. Every 100 points equals $5 toward your next BBQ purchase. What’s more? Upon signup, customers will automatically receive 100 points!
Patrick and Jen Hofer purchased Little Chief and Big Chief Travel Plaza in late 2022 and have been working diligently to make improvements to both locations, including adding a new BBQ restaurant to the Fergus Falls dining scene.
