What is one Minnesota place, location, or site that you want preserved in order to pass on to the next generation? What is your favorite historic site? How can the importance of historic preservation in Minnesota be better promoted?

Your guidance on these and other preservation issues are needed as the Fergus Falls Heritage Preservation Commission hosts a Minnesota statewide preservation plan public meeting on Thursday, Dec. 5, 6 p.m. at the Otter Tail County Historical Society.

This gathering is an opportunity to generate conversation and solicit feedback for the next statewide historic preservation plan. Input from the meeting will be used to refine preliminary goals and develop policies to support plan objectives. While the Minnesota Historic Preservation Office leads the statewide plan effort, the process is dependent on opinions from the public. Whose voice will inform the vision for the future of historic preservation in Minnesota.

The Dec. 5 meeting is free and open to the public. For more information contact Chris Schuelke at 736-6038.
