The Dalton Community Club and the Lake Region Pioneer Threshermen’s Association are sponsoring its first-ever “Dalton Christmas Fest” on Saturday, Dec. 14. The fun begins at noon with activities throughout the day for all ages!
Scheduled activities are: Vintage Store in the old creamery building (noon-4 p.m.); AC4TA Children’s Choir concert (under the direction of Joni Wasberg) at the Dalton Opera House at 2 p.m. Beginning at 3 p.m. will be marshmallow roasting at the fire station, vintage photo booth, holiday cartoons, and a live Nativity at the Dalton Community Center. Hot chocolate and cider plus Christmas treats will be provided. The children won’t want to miss a visit from Santa from 3–4:30 p.m. at the community center! Beginning at 4:30 p.m. wagon rides will take visitors through the Threshing Village tour of lights. You can enjoy a soup and sandwich supper (free-will donation) at the community center from 4:30–7 p.m. You are invited to join the Front & Center Singers’ Christmas carol sing-along at the community center.
