Above and beyond
Our custodians regularly go above and beyond their regular duties. Here is one example from our Cleveland teacher, Ms. Krause: “I know everyone at Cleveland does so much for the students, but I want to give a shout out to Al (Friedrich) for making one little girl’s day. Al dug through the lunch garbage in search of a ring that was accidentally dumped into the trash. The ring was special to her and she was very sad when she realized she had accidentally thrown it. Her face sure lit up when Al came into the room with the sanitized ring. Thank you for making her day!”
Jerry Ness is the superintendent of the Fergus Falls School District. His column appears Wednesday.
