Do you remember what it was like to be a young professional? Putting in extra hours, joining a volunteer group, offering to help out extra around the office or lending a hand to a co-worker? Well, we at The Daily Journal want to help recognize our young professionals with our annual 30 under 40 featured publication.

Now in its fourth year, the 30 under 40 publication is a way for an employer, friend, family member or teacher to let others know how important you are to the community. Last year, we threw a happy-hour style get together for the winners and their nominees, presenting an award to those nominated.

Nominees don’t have to be in an office setting. Plumbers, electricians, construction workers, laborers, artists or students are also able to be selected for the honor. Hardwork, dedication and volunteerism come from many different walks of life.
