The Fergus Falls boys’ tennis team picked up a pair of 4-3 victories in a home triangular Tuesday as the Otters defeated Perham and East Grand Forks.

LITTLE FALLS — The Fergus Falls baseball team traveled to play a pair of games against Little Falls and Detroit Lakes Friday. Errors and absence of clutch hitting  saw the Otters fall behind their opponents in both games.

New York Mills varsity is the West Central (North) Conference regular season champion, with Detroit Lakes finishing second.  Fergus Falls JV Black took their first loss of the season, but finished on top of the JV division.

NEW YORK MILLS — The Otter Tail Central baseball team could not hold off the offensive fire power of the hosting New York Mills Eagles Thursday as the Bulldogs left the field with two losses.

The Fergus Falls track and field teams played host to the Willmar Cardinals Thursday at the Kennedy Secondary track. The Otters would have several individual standout performances, but the visiting Cardinals would take both the boys’ and girls’ meets.

The Fergus Falls baseball team could not get their offense in gear Thursday as the visiting Willmar Cardinals held the Otters to four hits on the way to a 10-0 victory.

The West Central Area boys’ golf team took four out of the six medal spots as the Knights competed in a Quad County Conference meet at Pebble Lake Golf Course Thursday.

The M State baseball team picked up their fourth and fifth consecutive victories Wednesday as the Spartans topped Northland Community and Technical College in both games of a home doubleheader.

The M State Lady Spartan softball team played Rochester Community and Technical College Tuesday on their home field and lost Game 1 16-0 and Game 2 12-2. The Spartans have a very inexperienced team this year and are still searching for their first win.
