The Fergus Falls Hurricanes opened its home season Sunday as they welcomed in the Moorhead Mudcats. Early run production allowed ’Canes pitcher Mitch Porter to pick up his second win on the hill this season as the home team nabbed a 7-1 victory.



Two marches took place in Pelican Rapids last week in support of Black lives and justice against police brutality. The first was on Thursday, June 18 and was organized by Barbara Honer. The second took place the next day, Friday, June 19, and was organized by Ivan Olson.

MORRIS — After their opening game was canceled on June 13, the Fergus Falls Riverdogs baseball team hit the field to take on the Morris Brewers at Chisek Field Sunday, June 21. The Brewers would take advantage of a few errors to come out on top 5-3.
