“The West Central Area Knights were excited to field a full team for the first time all season,” Knights head coach Kari Kreft said. “It has been a crazy spring – weather wise and scheduling wise and it was good to have everyone together today. We were hoping we would have fared just a little better. Our goal with everyone playing at our home course, was first place. We didn’t make that goal today, but it makes us even more excited for next week’s Quad County Conference meet.”
The fourth-place Comets were led on the links by Audra Ewan (98) with Augusta Ewan (105), Molly McGuire (112) and Kayla Thompson (115) finishing up the team score.
Also competing at the meet were Ashby’s Ashley Hill (116) and Sammy Schlotfeld (132).
