The approach: Otter Tail Central junior Grace Nyhus hits an approach shot just shy of the green Tuesday afternoon on her first hole of the Minnesota State Golf Meet.

BECKER — The Class A boys’ and girls’ state golf meet wrapped up Wednesday at Pebble Creek.

In the girls’ meet, West Central Area’s Jessica St. Martin finished in 31st with a 191 two-day total, posting a 96 in the second day of the meet.

Pelican Rapids’ Ellie Johnson (196) finished in 40th overall as she shot a 98 on her second day of the event.

Otter Tail Central’s Grace Nyhus would finish in 55th as she carded a 105 in the second day to finish with a 204.

After posting a first day 81, Otter Tail Central’s Noah Chase followed with an 87 to finish with a two-day total of 168 and a 24th overall finish. Teammate Jackson Nyhus improved on his prior day’s 88 with an 84 to finish with a 172 and a 36th place finish.
