BATTLE LAKE — The West Central Area baseball team rode the pitching of starter Teigen Moritz to a 4-2 victory over the Otter Tail Central Bulldogs Thursday.

Moritz would surrender two runs on two hits over 6 1/3 innings, while striking out nine. Tanner Bennett would get the save as he got the last two outs for West Central.

Cole Brandner took the loss for Bulldogs as he pitched six innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out five.

Drake Larsen led the OTC offense with two hits in three at bats.
