MOORHEAD — Playing the in the quarterfinal round of Section 8AA, the Fergus Falls boys’ basketball team used a 10-0 run to open the second half and close out a 62-45 victory over Warroad at Concordia College Saturday.

ST. CLOUD — The Fergus Falls boys’ basketball team have played in a number of thriller lately and Tuesday night was no different as Brock Kotschevar would hit a runner as time expired to give the Otters a 52-50 victory over Central Lakes Conference foe St. Cloud Tech Tigers.

BEMIDJI — The Fergus Falls boys’ basketball team picked up another thrilling victory Saturday as the Otters defeated the hosting Bemidji Lumberjacks 67-62 in overtime.

The Fergus Falls Maroon girls’ bowling team will take a 6-0 record into the final week of regular season competition after sweeping all three matches in Detroit Lakes on Sunday.  Fergus Falls Gold is tied for third place with Detroit Lakes/Perham/New York Mills.

CALLAWAY — In a great day for Nordic skiing, Fergus Falls skier Tucker Henkes punched his ticket to the state tournament as he finished 11th overall at the Section 8 meet at Maplelag Resort Tuesday.

The Fergus Falls gymnastics team recorded a season-high team score Tuesday, but the visiting Perham Yellowjackets would claim the win as they defeated the Otters 145.575-134.55.
