The Pelican Rapids boys’ soccer team cruised to a victory Tuesday as the Vikings defeated the Fergus Falls Otters 3-0.

Pelican Rapids would score a goal in the first half and follow with two more in the second.

“We are battered and bruised right now,” Otters head coach Steve Ness said. “We played with a lot of passion and drive tonight. We created opportunities and you can never be upset about that. We had two penalties called on us in the box which makes it difficult, but our defense played very well.”

The Otters will continue its homestand as it welcomes in Rocori for a 7 p.m. game Tuesday.
