Fergus Falls boys' soccer player Kasey Eggen was awarded the Damien Jacklitch Memorial Award by Bruce Jacklitch (left) during the program's awards banquet Monday.

The Fergus Falls boys’ soccer team celebrated the end of the season Monday with a banquet and team awards acknowledgment. Shane Zierden was named Offensive Player of the Year while Anders Anthonisen-Brown was named as the team’s Defensive Player of the Year. Kasey Eggen was also honored with the Damien Jacklitch Memorial Award for being a positive promoter and role model for the sport of soccer by Bruce Jacklitch, the father for whom the award is named after. Captains for next season have yet to be announced.
