VERNDALE — The Henning boys’ basketball team would make seven 3-pointers as they downed New York Mills 77-41 Saturday.

WADENA — The Henning boys’ basketball team picked up its third straight victory Tuesday as the Hornets topped hosting Wadena-Deer Creek 73-40.

The Henning boys’ basketball team would claim back-to-back victories in its games on Friday and Saturday as the Hornets took on Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal and Ada-Borup West.



In a battle of undefeateds, the Henning boys’ basketball team kept Brandon-Evansville in check, holding the Chargers to 12 first-half points, on the way to a 60-49 victory Saturday.

HENNING — The Henning boys’ basketball team had a strong night putting triple figures on the visiting Sebeka Trojans 107-44 Thursday.

PILLAGER — The Henning boys’ basketball team overcame a slow start to rattle off 40 second-half points on the way to a 63-41 Park Region Conference victory over Pillager Tuesday.

ROTHSAY — The Henning boys’ basketball team got its season off to a good start as it defeated the hosting Rothsay Tigers 74-41 Tuesday.

ST. PAUL — The Henning volleyball team saw its season come to an end as they fell in five sets to the  Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa  Jaguars (26-24, 24-26, 18-25, 25-15, 15-12) in the state Class A consolation semifinals Friday at the Xcel Energy Center.

ST. PAUL — The Henning volleyball team saw its championship run come to an end Thursday as Waterville-Elysian-Morristown won the Class A quarterfinal matchup 3-0 (25-11, 25-21, 25-18).
