HENNING — The Brandon-Evansville girls’ basketball team used a strong first half to cruise to a 40-32 victory over the Henning Hornets Thursday.
The Chargers possessed an 18-9 lead after the first half and continued to hustle to seal the win.
Mikenna Pattrin scored 10 points for the Chargers, while the Hornets were led by Abbi Eckhoff with nine.
The Chargers will hit the road to take on Little Eight Conference rival Hillcrest at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday. The Hornets will look to rebound as they host Menahga at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
