ROTHSAY — The Hillcrest girls’ basketball team could not match the intensity of Little Eight Conference foe Rothsay Friday as the Tigers picked up a 71-36 victory.

“Rothsay came ready to play and we were caught on our heels the majority of the game,” Comets head coach Hannah Clark said. “We had way too many turnovers and our poor defensive effort led to wide open shots for Rothsay.”

Olivia Foss led the Comets with 14 points, while Mackenzie Foss grabbed six rebounds.

The Comets will take on another LEC foe as they host Parkers Prairie at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.
