PILLAGER — The Henning boys’ basketball team overcame a slow start to rattle off 40 second-half points on the way to a 63-41 Park Region Conference victory over Pillager Tuesday.
The Hornets went into the break nursing a 23-22 lead, but found their rhythm in the second half. Offensively, they nearly doubled their scoring output while limiting the Huskies to only 19 points in the second half.
Blake Wallevand led the Hornets with 23 points, while teammate Parker Fraki chipped in 17 of his own.
The Hornets (3-0) will now take on Sebeka in a 7:30 p.m. tilt Thursday.
