The Otter Tail Central Bulldog wrestling team went 2-1 as they wrestled the last two home meets of the year and look to close out the year on the road at the end of February. 

The Bulldogs defeated Wadena-Deer Creek (60-19) and Fosston-Bagley 38-36) on Tuesday, Feb. 9 in Henning, then dropped a duel to section favorite West Central Area/Ashby/Brandon-Evansville (13-63). 

The exciting duel of the week was the come-from-behind win over Fosston-Bagley, as it came down to the heavyweight match. OTC needed a pin for a win. Sophomore Johnny Fielding came through big with a pin. He was also 2-0 on the night. 

Key wrestlers this week were Brien Poser, Reid Leabo, Logan Schleske and Fielding, as well as the new young faces on the team. The younger wrestlers  continue to get valuable varsity mat time.
