BARRETT — Momentum switched back and forth Tuesday night, but the visiting Hancock Owls turned the tide late to top the West Central Area volleyball (22-25, 25-23, 26-24, 22-25, 17-15).

“This was a heartbreaker of a match,” Knights head coach Melissa Foslien said. “With each game score within two or three points of each other, it was a hard fought game.  Hancock seemed to have a greater energy tonight, their girls were getting up in the air and putting the ball down well.  We had opportunities but just did not finish.”

The Knights’ Ellie Herman (21/22, 4 aces), Hannah Holman (19/19, 4 aces) and Kaleigh Anderson (17/17, 2 aces) had good nights from the service line.

The Knights will look to get back on track as they host Parkers Prairie at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15.
