In a Heart O’ Lakes conference boys basketball contest, on Feb. 21, the Barnesville Trojans overcame a six point deficit at halftime to defeat the Pelican Rapids Vikings, 58-48. It was 26-20 after the first 18 minutes.

Taking on the Thunderbirds of Mahnomen/Waubun, on Feb. 11, the Pelican Rapids Vikings boys basketball team picked up a 67-63 victory, snapping a three game losing streak.

In Heart O’ Lakes Conference boys basketball, on Feb. 9, the Rebels of Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton held the Pelican Rapids Vikings in check, in a 59-46 victory. DGF held a 33-21 lead after the first 18 minutes.

Hosting the Breckenridge Cowboys, in Heart O’ Lakes conference boys basketball, on Jan. 19, the Pelican Rapids Vikings delivered a victory for the home crowd, 70-57. Pelican held a modest 33-28 halftime lead.
