Rockets win battle with Comets

Ella Knutson had a game high 23 points, to lead Hillcrest. Elsa Retzlaff finished with 13 points. Madi Foss picked up a double double, 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Madi Ballweg chipped in with 10.

For Underwood, Mo Bugbee led four players in double figures with 22. Liz Lukken had 16 points, Zoey Swanson 12 and Kallen Grove had 11 points and eight rebounds. Mia Blaskowski finished with a team high 10 boards.

Hillcrest 15-8 overall and 10-6 in conference play will host Battle Lake in a LEC contest on Feb. 16.

Underwood (20-3, 16-1 LEC) takes an 11 game winning streak into Lake Park-Audubon, also on Feb. 16.
