On Saturday, the Fergus Falls Otters gymnastics team capped off a successful first week of the new year, capturing the team title at the Park Rapids Invitational. After tying the school record on the bars Thursday night, Aubrey Seedorf followed it up with a first place finish on the bars. She scored a 7.85 and Madison Muchow was second with a 7.7. Kellen Frigaard was first on beam with a 8.9 score, Abigail Strege placed second at 8.4. 

When it came to the floor routine, Mayah Fear came in second, scoring an 8.8 and Frigaard third at 8.75. For the all-around competition, Frigaard finished as the runner-up with a final score of 32.8. 

The Otters had a team score of 130.75, Park Rapids was next at 123.60 and rounding out the top three was Morris Area with 120.65.

Fergus Falls gymnasts will next host Alexandria on Thursday night, with a start time of 6 p.m., at the Roosevelt Gym.
