WCA girls throttle Staples-Motley

Four Knights players scored in double figures. Claire Stark had 22 and Mya Foslien 19. Addison Staples finished with 11 and Jayden Styba had 10 points.

“This game is one that really shows what it means to be a team. We have focused on playing to each other's strengths and playing as one,” said WCA coach Becca Holland. “I have noticed different athletes step up and be a leader when needed and that is really exciting to see.”

WCA shot 56.5% in the game (35-62) and had 25 assists on their 35 made shots.

Stark and Foslien each had eight rebounds in the contest.

The Knights will be on the road, on Jan. 12, taking on Wheaton/Herman-Norcross.
